The little things are the big things…

With our family's recent move (well, recent as 8 months ago... wow! it's gone fast) and finances being tight having relocated to the one place outside of Vegas where they dispense only $50 bills from the ATM (what?), one of the first "luxuries" I cut back once we landed here was the gym membership. "I don't need it. I know how to do all of that stuff anyway. I'm a former athlete, I have self-discipline.." blah, blah, blah, blah.  I ran myself through all the arguments and happily found other ways to get my exercise.
